The girls come downstairs and by the grace of God don't wake us up right away, but instead they turn on the tv (pre-programmed to Disney) and start playing. Chris has to wake up so early that their 5:30am wake-up usually gets him out of bed quickly where he gives them juice and a snack before he hops in the shower. Gray wakes up around 6am which is when I roll out of bed.
It's a good morning routine.
A tad early, but we make it work.
So this morning, when I heard giggles I just assumed it was the girls out in the family room. And in my exhausted state I thought they sounded loud, but I was so sleepy (late NILMDTS session again) I rolled back over snoozing until Chris shouted, "We're getting TPed!"
Not our little girls but all of the big girls on his soccer team in our yard (our window was open and we barely heard them!) using Saran Wrap, maxi pads, forks, toilet paper and bras to decorate our yard+cars!
See those teeth??? SIX in two weeks!
Chris has some work to do tonight when he gets home! HA!
I had a blast yesterday reading my emails and the comments about everyone hopping on the UNPLUGGED bandwagon! It's a MOVEMENT! My day is coming soon...
Aren't there certain little things in your life that just scream SPRING? Toilet paper in the trees actually is a happy spring moment b/c it has been happening in my life for the last 9 years... I used to get TPed when I coached lacrosse and every year in our marriage Chris has been TPed too.
Anyway, one day soon I am going to post photos of everything that defines spring to me and I would love you to join me!
I took this shot this morning and I think I am actually going to frame it and bring it out every year b/c this is SO spring in our house:
Everyday I empty this little jar and everyday the girls fill it up again with dandelions. I love it. And someday it will evoke sweet sweet memories.
TODAY: I'm tired, but what else is new. I am drowning in NILMDTS edits AND my own client edits. I'm craving a good chocolate shake but seriously contemplating joining Weight Watchers. Hmmm. I had a GREAT conference call with an apparel company that has hired me to shoot their catalog... lots of work for this bad boy and I couldn't be more excited! Need to get moving on that. Someone came and dirtied all of our clothes and forgot to wash them so I am trying to tame that monster in the basement. Yikes. I hate laundry. And of course it is GORGEOUS outside which means either more toilet paper cleaning up or a trip to the park. I'm guessing we'll hit the park and leave the clean-up for Daddy.
Our shampoo bottle says:
A get-going boost. Wake up. Go fresh.
I love it! GO!
