"We recently had a maternity/family photo shoot with Jodie, and we
could not be happier!  It was so easy to work with her...from
planning to picking up our photos.  She talked us through each step,
and we appreciated the careful way she planned and executed the
pictures.  We didn't feel rushed, or pushed to do unnatural poses.
She captured some of the best moments just by letting us play with
our son.  He was not too happy that day, but she was so patient and
gentle with him that the pictures turned out beautifully--and it
looked like he was happy the entire time!  We will use Jodie again

"After having the opportunity to thumb through a friend's recent photos taken by Jodie Allen, I was absolutely convinced that she had to come to my house and attempt to capture some great moments with my 2 1/2 twins; attempt is the key word here because my kids tend to be hams when it comes to photographs.  They either try too hard to smile, or they look away too quickly.  Jodie was not only patient with the entire family--twins, dog, and all-- but she made a point to really get to know our family and allow us to "do our own thing."  She caught us giggling out of control, looking at an airplane, and desperately trying to get my daughter to stay still for a particular pose.  The most adorable pictures are the ones in which we are playing and "hanging around."  Jodie has a unique way of capturing those candid, natural moments and backgrounds.  We truly could not have found a better photographer for our family, especially for the price, quality time, and enjoyable experience."
