Let's start with travel. And don't skip this part to get to my famous person encounter. This IS important.
Ok, truly I will be announcing my summer travel schedule next week along with the dates for my spring MINI SESSIONS!

SO! I know you've all been dying to know just WHO I got to go shopping with yesterday!
First, I got to hang out with my sweet friend+client Janel and her sister Nicole!
And they were the hook-up for meeting...

I've been following her blog for years and just love her work. She is a scrapbook designer (she had lines out in Hobby Lobby among other things!), an artist, an author, you name it! AND she is only 25! AH-MAZING!

And I just love love LOVE her funky style! Totally not my normal taste but I truly love her work. And Janel loves it even more as she has practically sold her house to buy Elsie's paintings! Janel is also in Elsie's online class and has been creating super cute things and posting them over on her blog HERE.
So when Elsie opened her new store down in Springfield Missouri, Nicole and Janel took a road trip for the opening day. There they met Elsie and became friends with her! Oh I was dying when I heard that! So Elsie drove the 3 hours yesterday to hang out with JANEL who brought along her sister and dorky photographer friend!
We met down in the Loop, which is the "alternative" part of town! HA! Really, it's where you used to be able to go buy all things drug related when I was in high school and I still think of it as a hippy haven, but it is so cute now! I bought the cutest things last night I will show you soon! A killer necklace and a t-shirt for Gray I am drooling over! And the greatest greeting card EVER (Fern, it's headed your way lady!)!
SO. I don't know if you have ever met a famous blogger before, but I haven't and I was so totally star struck. I've read her blog for so long I really felt like I knew her! I'm a TOTAL nerd! But it was awesome!

SO then Elsie was basically in her car to leave and even though I had NO eye make-up on to disguise my still puffy pink eyes and my hair was a royal mess, I geeked out and asked her for one more with me! And then I made Janel get in too b/c I was mortified I even asked!
So yes. I am a complete nerd who was so far past excited to meet someone who's work I ADORE that I couldn't stop smiling yesterday just thinking about it!
