(Have you noticed photographers putting that at the top of their blog posts lately? I'm guessing it's so they are more "Googleable" or something so I thought I would try it. And I say this NOW so that I'm not accused of copying off the MILLION others that do it later! HA!)
Anyway, I had two AWESOME sessions yesterday! And on so many levels too!
1. Both were in NEW locations and I love nothing better than shooting somewhere I've never shot before. It yanks out my creativity like no other.
2. Gina, one of the moms from my morning session was SO excited about her shoot it had ME all excited for it! More so than usual!
3. The evening session was with one of my June brides and it was SO great to meet her and her fiance! And their wedding is going to be awesome! Just a few weeks away!
4. CHRIS came with me for the whole day while I traipsed around Missouri! It was a serious road trip and I went from St. Louis to St. Charles to Hermann and back. We chatted and dreamed and laughed and shopped (yahoo for outlet malls along the way!) and had a great time. I loved spending the day with him and having him see me work for the first time!
Here are a few sneak peeks from my morning session with Gina and Emily... best friends... LOVE the idea of splitting a session with your best friend!
It was supposed to POUR down rain all day yesterday and since both dad's had taken off work we had to make it work... that meant rain boots and cute umbrellas for everyone! The sun shined through the clouds and although it was HOT it never rained... which was awesome b/c we got some great shots... but I was kind of sad we didn't get to play in puddles and run through the raindrops! HA!
The rain did hit, but we were on our way home from Hermann (about an hour and a half drive) and OH MY GOSH was the storm amazing! It was the coolest lightening storm I've ever seen and we got to see it all from the car. Totally awesome.
So it was a great day! Thanks Gina and Emily and families... and Laura and Dane for a GOOD GOOD day! And thanks to C for coming along and making the day even more special!
Does anyone out there know what tomorrow is??? First one to guess wins a PRIZE! (family DO not tell!)
